Good is good all the time…

March 25th, 2008 by awitonta

God is indeed great in our lives. He always supply our needs according to his richness and glory. There are times in our lives that find we found not being blessed by all bountiful blessings that GOD has but God always remind to his words to stay and wait for his blessings. Well, most of wants to have positive answer immediately without waiting but GOD really test us to wait and accepts whatever GOd will bring.

Well, there are times that I try to appeal to God on my request and HE answered immediately. Being the daughter of the LORD I always proclaim that He is my father and I am his child. I do all do and don’t but most of the time I fail but I’m trying just to obey his law, well I am not more familiar about probate law but God’s law is everlasting . God’s law that is unbreakable. Even we often fail to obey his words but his mercy is everlasting. God forgive us immediately as long we ask for repentance for him.

He is really an everlasting God.

Again , I’m giving you the lyrics of the song Good is good all the time.

by Don Moen

Chorus:
God is good all the time
He put a song of praise
In this heart of Mine;
God is good all the time
Through the darknes night
His light we shine
God is good, God is good
all the time.

***
God is good all the time
He put a song of praise
In this heart of Mine;
God is good all the time
Through the darknes night
His light we shine
God is good, God is good
all the time.

If you’re walking through the shadows
And there are shadows all around
Do not fear, He will guide you
He will keep you safe and sound
He has promised to never leave you
Nor forsake you, and His word is true

***
God is good all the time
He put a song of praise
In this heart of Mine;
God is good all the time
Through the darknes night
His light we shine
God is good, God is good
all the time.

II
We were sinners so unworthy
Still for us He chose to die
Filled us with His Holy spirit
Now we can stand and testify
That His love everlasting
And his mercies they will never end.

Though I may not understand
All the plans You have for me
My life is in Your hands
And thorough the eyes of faith
I can clearly see.
(repeat chorus)

He’s so good, God is good,
He’s so good, God is good,
He’s so good all the time.

Mediterranean Europe

February 25th, 2008 by awitonta

Here’s another refreshing place for you to find out . Let’s visit Europe country . Europe consists countries on three peninsulas that extend into the Mediterranean Sea. The state includes Spain and Portugal, on the Iberian Peninsula; Italy, San Marino, and Vatican City, on the Italian Peninsula; and Greece and Turkish Thrace (or European Turkey), mostly on the Balkan Peninsula.

If you happened to pop-in the place you will be astound of some historic cost place First, a small island nation in the Mediterranean Sea called Malta. Lies to the south of the island of Sicily in Italy, Malta like an eye-catching scenic beautiful spots that invite numerous visitors every year it’s because of it’s rare panorama . Malta hotels malta.jpgare often full because of so many tourists arrived and they increases not only in terms of arrivals, but also in hotel rates and occupancies. Malta is known as rich cultural background relates mainly from its history of foreign domination and the power and influence of the Roman Catholic Church. Folk traditions have developed mainly around the village feast, commemorating the patron saint of each city and village in Malta with air and land fireworks and processions. Most tourists will visit the annual Carnival festival and join to a celebration at the capital city of Valletta with energetic dancing. This place you will find so much architectural inheritance, art performance, include cultural heritage, and others.

Now let’s move on to Cyprus. This place has a much larger population of nearly 800,000 in the eastern Mediterranean Sea, south of Turkey. After Sicily and Sardinia, Cyprus is the third largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. Although the island lies close to the Middle East, it is considered to be a European country and is a member of the European Union. It is known also as a famous tourist destination ever since . Cyprus main airport is Larnaca International Airport and is situated on the outskirts of Larnaka. There are also charter flights to the airport of Paphos . These flights combined with cheap hotels in Cyprus , or cheap hotels in Paphos provided by Cheaperthanhotels – Cyprus can be combined to create great value package deals . You will have a great experience by staying in a cyprus.jpgCyprus Hotels because it’s close near to the beach. It will take you 15 to 20 mins. to walk to the beachline .This allows you to quickly get to the beach anytime that you want so it’s more relaxing who loves to go for a dip .

The third one is Crete. This is one of the biggest of the Greek Islands. When you look at the sheer scale of the island, it measures over 150 miles from East to West, and 37 miles between the North and South Coast. You will noticed some amazing countryside that makes the tourist eager to visit. High mountains, with totally unspoiled villages to very eye-catching resorts on the beach. If you are looking for a fabulous crete-island-hotels.jpgCrete Hotels, where everything is complete then Crete has them all. All of the island above you can visit for your holiday plan .

The fourth one is Corsica . Corsica is to the south of mainland France in the Mediterranean Sea.The island is nearer to mainland Italy than France and only a few miles from Sardinia to the South. The Island of Beauty as the French often call it was attached to France in 1768.Mainly granite, giving sharp cliffs and poor farming. Hills with “maquis”. Low population, low industry, high emigration.Wine, fruit and dairy. There are still political unrest with claims for independence. The people have there own language which is still spoken and taught in schools. The beautiful scenery and warm seas make this a favourite destination for all tourist. The beaches and clear water are excellent for all water sports, and some of the best diving in the world. Inland there are mountains and much farming. The wines are also of a high quality and famous. The island of Corsica is France’s ‘little bit of Italy’, it being close to that neighbouring country and therefore long influenced by the language, architecture and cuisine of the Italian mainland. The local language, for example, is Tuscan-inspired. Corsica has been under French rule for only 200 years after being sold by Genoa to Paris in 1768. Before that happened, this island that rises majestically out of the Mediterranean, belonged by turns to the Greeks, Romans, Vandals, Byzantines, Moors and Lombards, each conquering nation leaving their mark and influence to be added to the Corsican melting pot. Corsicans today tolerate French rule unwillingly, but radicals are tempered by the realization that the island economy is heavily subsidized and islanders enjoy generous tax concessions.

Today the invaders of this island, which gave birth to Napoleon and Columbus, are thousands of holidaymakers who flock particularly to the east coast with its long sandy beaches and pretty fishing villages. The west coast has awe-inspiring scenery with cliffs and rocky inlets, while the mountainous interior remains largely wild, in between cultivated groves of olives, pine plantations and cork forests.

Corsica Hotels corsica-hotels.jpgis still known as best hotel to stay and offer cheaperthan hotels.

The last one is Corfu .This is located in the western part of Greece. The island belongs to the Ionian Islands cluster that is situated at the Ionian Sea.Corfu’s geographical position attracted powers in the past, from east & west. and the Italian city-states of Genoa & Venice. Through ancient history it was under of the city-states of Athens & Corinth and later it was ruled by the Goths, Lombards, Saracens & Normans and was fought over from the kings of Sicily and the Italian city-states of Genoa & Venice. Corfu is considered as having one of the most attractive countryside of all the Greek Islands. Touring around the island of Corfu you will come across Corfu (Kerkyra), the capital of the island, which is one of the most bedazzling towns of Greece. During your stay on the island of Corfu you have to visit Paleokastritsa, Benitses, Kavos, Gouvia, Sidari, Gouvia, Kasiopi, Dassia, Kontokali, Messonghi, Pelekas, Moraitika, and numerous other settlements that are all worth a visit. On this cosmopolitan island, you’ll be able to combine relaxation with good times and a full nightlife, for Corfu is an international tourist centre which can satisfy the demands of the most difficult visitor.
Its physical beauty of lush vegetation, combined with the typical Greek seascapes and the architecture of the British and the Italians attract hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. The island of Corfu is an exceptional resort for your holidays as it combines breathtaking natural beauty, interesting historical sites and the unique mentality of the hospitable inhabitants.

The island of Corfu in the northwestern corner of Greece is the greenest and in the eyes of many, the most beautiful island in the country, if not the world. With more rainfall than any other island there is a variety and abundance of plant life like few other places in Greek islands and GREECE. Corfu is a few hours by ferry from Brindisi Italy and for many tourists is the only part of Greece they see. Well, if you are only going to see one place in Greece, Corfu is not a bad choice. Some of the most amazing beaches in the world are in Corfu and though tourism has completely taken over most of the coastal areas, the mountain villages are as unspoiled as the most remote in Greece. Cooler than most islands in the summer and with mild winters, Corfu island is a nice choice for people who are afraid they may not be able to handle the heat of southern Greece. It is also one of the most popular islands in Greece and if you want to experience its natural beauty without the people you need to come between October and May. But if you like people then you will find them in some of the most beautiful resorts and hotels in Greece. Corfu’s six-month olive season is the longest of any island in Greece and lush vineyards cover the island. They also grow many other fruits and vegetables because of its climate and extremely fertile soil. Those of you who have read Homer will remember that this was his last stop before getting back to Ithaka a couple hundred miles south, and he could not wait to get home.I’m sure you will enjoy staying this place like this famouscorfu-island-hotels.jpg Corfu Hotels.

It’s really good to thank God for such rare places like in Mediterranean.

Bible reading

February 10th, 2008 by awitonta

Reading bible is a vital task for every christian. It is our duty to read the bible everyday for us to know more and learn from word of God and be able to do his will. Well, most of us mostly forgot this duty because we’re too busy for our household task and so much excuses. Well, I admit I seldom read the bible and I felt sorry for that coz that is one way of communicating God through his word. It’s a wonderful feeling when you’ve learned something from his commandments it’s not just same as reviews of senior retirement homes but it’s fulfilling to do his will.

There are some Christians who do not know what to start to read the bible so hope these tips will help you.

TIPS ON CONCENTRATING ON BIBLE READING
b.jpg
Following are some suggestions to help you concentrate upon the Word of God:

(1) A QUIET, PRIVATE PLACE IS REQUIRED. For most christians trying to study the Bible in a room where other people are talking and a radio is blaring, etc. That is not wise, and it is not honoring to the Lord, who deserves our undivided attention. The Bible is the very Word of God. Would it be proper to invite God over for a visit and then have many other things going on at the same time as He was talking to us? On some occasions when I have visited people in their homes to talk to them about spiritual matters, they have kept the television on and have continued watching it even while I was trying to talk with them about the Word of God. That was very disrespectful to me personally and, more importantly, to the message that I was bringing. There have been occasions, especially while traveling, when I have gotten into my car and driven out to a country road or, if in a city, to the backside of the parking lot of a large shopping area in order to have a quiet and private place for my Bible study time.

(2) ASK THE LORD TO HELP YOU KEEP YOUR MIND ON HIS WORD. If you find your mind frequently wandering during Bible study, lay the matter before the Lord. Tell Him that you desire to grow in knowledge of Him and His Word, explain your problem to Him, and beseech Him to help you concentrate.

(3) IF YOU ARE PARTICULARLY WORRIED ABOUT SOME MATTER, CAST IT UPON THE LORD (1 Pet. 5:7) and trust Him to take care of it for you; then turn your full attention to His Word.

(4) HAVE PEN IN HAND AS YOU READ. Just the action of picking up one’s pen and being ready to write things down or to mark in one’s Bible causes the mind to focus more on the reading.

(5) REMOVE THINGS FROM YOUR BIBLE STUDY AREA THAT ARE DISTRACTING. I know a pastor who removed all of the bright colored covers from the books in his office, because they distracted him when he was trying to study the Bible.

(6) BE CAREFUL ABOUT USING A COMPUTER DURING BIBLE READING TIME. I use my computer to study the Bible, because it is so efficient, but I do not use my computer when I have my daily devotion time in the Scriptures and when I am just reading the Scriptures. It is too easy to get distracted with other things on the computer.

(7) BE CAREFUL ABOUT EXTRANEOUS THOUGHTS. When you are studying the Bible, it will often happen that thoughts about other things will rush in and you will be tempted to leave the study of the Bible and to rush off and take care of those things. For this reason, it is a good idea to have pen and paper handy and to jot down thoughts so that you can take care of them later. This way, you can put them out of your mind for the time being and proceed with your study. If you get in the habit of allowing yourself to rush off and take care of other things, you will be crippled in your ability to study the Bible fruitfully.

(8) GO BACK AND READ THE PASSAGE AGAIN. When you find that your mind has wandered during the reading of the Scripture, it is important to go back and read that passage again until you understand what you are reading, even if it takes several readings. It is better to read one verse with clear understanding than to read an entire chapter with the mind drifting to other things.

(9) TRY NOT TO READ THE BIBLE WHEN YOU ARE TIRED. Sometimes this cannot be avoided, and it is better to read the Bible when you are tired than not at all. But the wise Bible student will arrange his schedule in such a way that he can study the Scriptures when he is alert.

(10) IF YOU FIND YOUR MIND WANDERING, IT MIGHT HELP TO PUT THE BIBLE READING FIRST BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE IN THE DAY. I have found that if I start reading and studying other things first, it is much more difficult to concentrate on the Bible later.

(11) SOMETIMES IT IS HELPFUL TO READ THE BIBLE ALOUD IF YOU FIND YOUR MIND WANDERING. This can help you maintain your concentration.

(12) A LARGER PRINT BIBLE can also help with concentration because it is easier to read and the pages of the Bible are not as cluttered with type.

(13) BE PERSISTENT. Don’t let the devil defeat you in your Bible reading. If you find yourself unable to concentrate for a period, don’t quit. Just go back at it the next day and the next and the next. There are ups and downs in Bible study as there are in everything else in life. The best tip for effective Bible study is to just keep on keeping on!

Hope it’s helpful to you!

As the song goes:

Read your bible, pray everyday (2x)

And you grow grow grow!

Generosity

February 9th, 2008 by awitonta

“The way you get meaning into your life is to devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning.”

Are you not happy sharing someone out from your abundance blessings? To give something to someone who is needy is a grateful feeling you felt deep inside yourself. It’s a joy to give out from what you have, even you have less in return. As I said small things that is shared becomes big and brings joy to one’s heart. Yes! It’s really true, I experienced to give someone out from my pocket and you can see the big smile of the recipient . It’s nice to give without expecting any return .Well, some also give and expecting big return like a trip to Manhattan hair transplant surgeon but making one happy is the best thing you gained in life.

Love one another is sharing of what you have. Like when you share the gospel of GOD coz someone need it even he’s not eager to listen but right time may comes . He will realized that God’s message is the best bread of life.g.jpg

Bigheartedness is an act of generosity.

Shine On Us
Lynn Mansour

O God be gracious to us, bless us, O Lord
Make Your face shine on us
Make known Your ways oh Lord
Among every tribe, and every nation

Then the land will yield it’s harvest,
And God, our God, will bless us

May the people praise You, O God;
May all the people praise You
May the nations be glad and sing for joy!

May the people praise You, O God;
May all the people praise You
May the nations be glad and sing for joy!

Every knee will bow, every tongue confess
You are Lord of all, over all the earth!

Serving God

February 9th, 2008 by awitonta

Serving God is not just easy. It is not only going to church to pray, giving thanks to HIM, singing praise and worship to the LORD and speaking wonderful things HE has done for us but it is serving to someone who is needy. God is close to someone who is serving to the needy , to the less fortunate and to those who are weary and not only for personal satisfaction like going to Palm Beach nose surgery. But questions arises as to why do we as Christians serve God. Why should we serve God. Does any one tried to ask that kind of question? Most probably never paused to consider their motives. While we do not need to understand our motives in order to serve God or grow in godliness, the more we are aware of them, the better we will be able to serve God as He deserves. Motivations are often hard to discern and they sometimes overlap, but it is clear from the Bible that Christians can serve from either worthy or unworthy motives.

Well, it is healthy to evaluate our motives for serving God or for growing in godliness so that we might serve Him better. I do love serving the LORD s.jpgfor the rest of my life.

As for me and my house we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15

As for me and my house

( by Ron Kenoly)

As for me and my house
We will serve the Lord (oh yes)
As for me and my house
We will serve the Lord
We have counted the cost
We have made a choice
We will follow our God
And obey His word
From this day and
For the rest of our lives
We will serve the Lord
(Repeat)
(Bridge)
We will not bow to another God
We will have no other gods but You
We will not serve two masters
We surrender our lives to You
We surrender our lives to You
(Repeat chorus 2x)
(Bridge)

Perseverance

February 9th, 2008 by awitonta

Perseverance has an extensive meaning. Many of us do not have this kind of right trait. We easily give-up for the things that we wished to acquire coz we think it’s not really for us then we easily quit . Most of us do not succeed because of this negative outlook.

Now, let us know the broad meaning of perseverance. Perseverance is a commitment, a hard work, patience and endurance. When one has the ultimate goal to succeed one must keep on trying until such time he will be triumphant at the race. Like if one wanted to have a trip to Los Angeles plastic surgery and no budget for that beauty enrichment because lack of extra dosh but I’m not referring to that.

Perseverance p.jpgis also is being able to bear difficulties calmly and without complaint , can we do that?. I think most of us easily got irritated on waiting something for nothing that is not right for us . We easily said to ourselves that it’s not the “right time” but a person who has long determination to succeed always be with patience to wait for the right time and he never said to quit but still trying to pursue the dream that he wanted. Like I said perseverance is trying again and again.

I love GOD

Who am i that you would pay me mind?
Who am i that you would take the time to find me?
Who am i that you’d reach out you hand?
Lord what am i but just a sinful sinking man?
I didn’t even know who God was,
until he told me he’s my dad
And its just because He loved me
And he’d rather die than live without me
He loved me and He’d rather go through hell than go to heaven without me
And i love Him and i’ll stay with him until the end of time
One thing i know, God gave His life for mine
He will always be, He will always be, He will always be there
Who am i that you would know my name?
Who am i that you’d help me win this losing game?
Who am i that you’d stay all day by my side?
God i fail but at least you know i tried
I didn’t even know who he was,
then God told me i’m His son
I count on God, i love him best
He helps me through my trials and tests
He’ll always be there when i call,
always catch me when i fall
He will always be there

Sacrifice

February 8th, 2008 by awitonta

Sacrifice has a broad meaning . It has to do with serving others than yourself .I think all of us making a huge sacrifice by being willing to listen with someone’s need and necessity and giving someone of what you had. It’s really difficult that losing something of your wealth and shared it with someone who is needy. But it’s better to give than to receive. A small thing becomes big when it is shared right? It’s a grateful feeling that one has a big smile because of your help. Well, God will blessed the giver with thousand folds and that is biblical but as a giver we will not expect more than that. We will not expect anything even a trip to San Francisco face lifts. I think Christian people like me needs to understand the concept of sacrifice, the need to sacrifice, the importance of sacrifice, and the outcome of sacrifice. Sacrifice is an important concept which we as Christians need to address.

God is so faithful to us, so great is His faithfulness, that He sacrificed Himself for us in ways we can’t imagine. And since Christ is to be our counselor, if we want to learn what a sacrifice is, we have to look no further than to Him. It is better that we tend to think that to sacrifice, we are entitled to personal gain. Christ did not sacrifice for personal gain. We think sacrificing must be a miserable experience. Christ’s experience of sacrificing was not fun, but through the pain, through the anguish, came the joy that, in His view, the sacrifice was worth it. And, get this, we–you, I, everyone–are worth it to Him. No one can compare how God sacrifice for us.

 A song about living sacrifice:

You were broken for me and now
I’m broken for you as a living sacrifice
You were an offering and now
I offer all of me as a living sacrifice

Chorus:
Bread of Life come feed my soul
Living Water overflow
Holy Spirit consume all of me
I wanna be a living sacrifice

You remember me;
I will remember you as a living sacrifice
How you suffered for me
and I will suffer for you as a living sacrifice

Chorus:
Bread of Life come feed my soul
Living Water overflow
Holy Spirit consume all of me
I wanna be a living sacrifice

Bridge:
O Jesus you were pierced for me
You were crushed for my iniquity
Your punishment has brought me peace and by Your wounds I’m free

Chorus:
Bread of Life come feed my soul
Living Water overflow
Bread of Life come feed my soul
Living Water overflow
Holy Spirit consume all of me
I wanna be a living sacrifice!!

I wanna be a living sacrifice Lord!
I wanna be and I’m gonna be a living sacrifice.

Love is…

February 8th, 2008 by awitonta

Since it’s a month of love I wanna to share here what LOVE really is.

According to 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

Love has a deeper meaning. It is the most powerful word why people are still living now and that is to love and beloved. What people really want more than anything else is to be loved unconditionally; to be accepted for who we are, and still be loved. Some people we will do some crazy things, in the name of love and yes it’s really true, love is very powerful. Love is actually the choice one makes to put someone’s wishes like having Houston breast lift, desires and needs above our own. Many people confuse the word love with the meaning of the word want or desire. This usage of the word love for the meaning of the word want is ever so present in the way we use and abuse it. Love is the most valuable commodity in the world. Without love, life would not be worth living. With love in our lives, we are empowered beyond belief. Without love in our lives we will shrivel up and die a slow, painful and lonely death. Love is the very essence and core of our being. It is the energy that sustains who and what we are. Everyone in life has a deep-rooted desire to love and be loved. Many times people only recognize love in its emotional form. However, love is a lot more than what we feel. Love is a spiritual form of energy that can be given or received in physical, emotional, or mental forms. Love usually starts in our thoughts, then spreads to the physical world through our actions, and then it will produce the emotional feelings. Love is a spiritual gift from a supreme force that starts mentally and finds its way to physical expression, but the emotional feelings we call love have very little to do with what love really is all about. Furthermore, love can also come in healthy and unhealthy forms. Love is an energy that can be used in a positive, healthy manner or a negative, unhealthy manner. There is unconditional love, which is very accepting, supporting and forgiving. There is tough love, which is disciplined, authoritative and conforming. The acceptance of love also plays a role in better understanding the concept of love. Many times we give love to our partner the same way we would like to receive it. But loving a person this way might not be in their best interests. If our gift of love fails to promote the good in the other person, they might not like it and reject it. Other times we might expect to be loved by our partners in the same way we were loved as children by our parents.

Happy Valentines Day to all!

h.jpg

The song below talks about hod God love us so much.

  Chorus:
For God so loved the world
that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whomsoever believth on Him
should not perish, should not perish,
but they shall have, they shall have
everlating life.

Verse 1:
God could have chosen
to never love again,
fallen man could go his way
and die in his sin;
but God in His compassion said,
I’ll pay redemption’s price,
so He took on the form of man
and became the perfect sacrifice.

Verse 2:
Riches couldn’t have paid the debt
that God could have sold,
all the walls of jasper,
all the streets of purest gold.
But He knew the price of one lost soul
was more than wealth could buy;
and if redemption were ever bought,
only love would satisfy.

Chorus

Italy’s climate

February 2nd, 2008 by awitonta

It is important to check the climate of the place before spending the vacation with your family, love ones and even spending the day with your friends. I am hooked to Italy’s climate of what really the best day to spend it.

I’ve found out this :

The normal influence of the sea and the protection given by the Alpine barrier from the cold north winds join to bless Italy with a temperate climate. Nevertheless, the weather varies considerably according to how far one is from the sea or the mountains. The winter is very cold in the Alps, cold and foggy in the Po Plain and the central Apennines; mild and even warm on the Ligurian coast, the Neapolitan coast and in Sicilia.

The summer is hot and dry, but the temperature is mitigated on the coast by sea breezes and in the Apennines and Alps it is pleasantly cool. In mountain areas, winter is ideal for skiing, and summer for excursions, hiking, etc. Seaside and lake resorts, with their excellent hotel facilities, have an intense tourist season in the summer, while the cities that are rich in art treasures are ideal in spring and autumn.

So if you chose Italy as a great place for you to enjoy, it’s more important also to check the hotel which is suited for you. Hotels like Italy Hotels , Rome Hotels , Milan Hotels and Venice Hotels offers best rate and excellent service for you to stay.

Some photos from Italy.

italy.jpg italy2.jpg italy-3.jpg

You’ll see how wonderful the place was.

Another great song to the Lord

I love you lord and I lift my voice to worship you
all my soul rejoices
take joy my king in what you hear
let it be a sweet sweet sound in your ear
